Hi!

I'm a software engineering leader with over 15 years of experience building and scaling enterprise-grade software systems. I enjoy solving hard technical problems, but even more so, I like removing obstacles that keep teams from delivering great products.

I’ve led and built high-performing, remote-first engineering teams across Europe and New Zealand, driving projects from legacy system modernization to cloud-native, event-driven architectures. My work has spanned domains like mobility, retail, and automotive data - always with a focus on usability, sustainability, and long-term maintainability.

I care deeply about strong engineering culture, clear communication, and empowering diverse teams to do their best work. Currently, I lead the Merchant Insights team at Lightspeed Commerce, helping retailers make smarter, data-driven decisions through better reporting and analytics.

This is where I collect personal thoughts and reflections on my work - from software engineering and agile practices to team management and project challenges. It's a space for sharing ideas, lessons learned, and the occasional opinionated take from the field.
